Lisa
Mahan, New Hope,
PA
Lisa
Mahan works mainly in oils with a primary focus on color and light. Her subject
matter ranges from the figure, interiors, landscapes, to the still life. Whether
the scene is a scattering of plates and fruit on a tin-top table under a window
or a narrative urban scene at dusk, her focus is on the light at that particular
time of day and its effect on the colors in the scene. Since 1996, Mahan has
exhibited at numerous juried and invitational shows throughout the area, and is
a founding member of Artist’s Gallery in Lambertville, where her work can be
seen regularly.

Timothy
Martin, Sergeantsville, NJ
Timothy
Martin first gained widespread recognition in 1993 when he was selected by
Tiffany & Company to display artwork in their windows on Fifth Avenue. He

plants and animals is perfectly natural, no pun intended.” Since the late
1990s, his work has been reproduced by fine art publishers as posters, giclee
prints and note cards. A 1994-95 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship

Jane
Gilday, Wrightstown, PA
Jane
Gilday is a painter, musician, and writer, who has been based in the New
Hope-Lambertville area for the last decade. She works in three primary
directions: landscapes, decorative pattern pieces, and illuminations. Gilday
paints onsite and from memory, with most landscapes emerging as syntheses of
scenes seen and re-combined into imaginary, but archetypal, vistas. The
“illuminated” aspect appears on frames, made by the artist, which are an
integral part of the finished work. In the ancient tradition, frames are
engraved, decorated, and often gold-leafed and glazed with washes of earthtones.
Gilday is represented by the Hrefna Jonsdottir Gallery in Lambertville, NJ.

Glen
D. Harren, Holicong, PA
Glen
D. Harren describes himself as “an artist that responds in color and shapes to
the world around me. I seek the extraordinary aspects of everyday life, whether
in the color of a landscape or the simple dignity of the human form.” Harren
has exhibited widely in the greater Philadelphia area in group and solo
exhibitions, and is well represented in private and public collections. The
recipient of many awards, Harren’s Egg
Whites in Lambertville, shown
